Istanbul Tour

After having breakfast at the hotel, depart to discover the Byzantine and Ottoman treasures of Istanbul. Visit the Royal Topkapi Palace (home of the Ottoman Sultans), the Blue Mosque (also known as the Sultanahmet Mosque and unique with six minarets), the Roman Hippodrome Square and the St. Sophia Church which is considered one of the world’ s greatest architectural marvels. Then visit the Grand Covered Bazaar with over 4.000 tiny shops. Return to your hotel after the tour.

Istanbul Tour

After having early breakfast at the hotel check out and depart for your Bosphorus and Asia Tour. Visit the Egyptian Spice Market, and then embark on a Bosphorus Boat Tour viewing the beauty of the European and Asian shorelines on either side. After lunch, visit the gorgeous St. Chora Museum with its marvelous mosaics and frescoes depicting scenes from the Bible and which dates back to 14th century A.D. Return to your hotel after the tour.

After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove, Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, trenches and as much else as possible. Lunch as picnic box and in the afternoon guide to take passengers to Anzac Cove to settle in for the night.

After having breakfast at the hotel, depart to visit Pergamon on the way to Izmir. Visit the Acropolis, the Temple Of Athena, the famous Library, the Royal Palaces, the Temple Of Trojan, the steepest Theatre of the world, the Temple Of Dionysos, the Altar of Zeus (Seat of Satan) and the view of the Red Basilica (St. John’s Church). Lunch in town. Visit the ruins of Asclepion (Medical Center of the Ancient World). Continue to Kusadasi after the tour.

After having breakfast at the hotel, leave for Ephesus. Ephesus, the veritable cradle of early Christianity. Visit the Shrine of The Virgin Mary where she supposedly spent her later days. Proceed to Ephesus and see the spectacular ruins from the period of St. Paul, some of which have only recently been excavated. See the Odeon, the Bouleterion, Fountains, the Temples, the Brothel, the Library, the Agoras, the Great Theatre, the Roman Baths, the Gymnasiums. After lunch visit the Archaeological Museum and the Temple of Artemis (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World).

Kusadasi / Pamukkale (Hierapolis)

After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to PamukkaleHierapolis (the Cotton Castle) one of the most spectacular sites. See the wonderful formations of the travertine and watch cataracts falling into basins at the bottom of the mountain. Walk around the ancient city Hierapolis, the Monument, and Thermal Baths. See the architectural genius of the Theatre, the magnificently well preserved Necropolis and the worldwide famous “Devil’s Hole“. Year-round swimming possibility in the natural hot spring pool.

Pamukkale / Konya / Cappadocia

After having early breakfast at the hotel, visit the Mevlana Museum, 13th century Whirling Dervish Monastery. Then continue to Cappadocia and a visit to the 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai Agzikarahan. After visiting Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors, proceed to the hotel for overnight.

After having breakfast at the hotel, begin with a visit to Goreme Open Air Museum with Byzantine Cave Churches and beautiful frescoes including Dark Church (entrance fee is excluded). Then continue to visit Chavushin to see how people used to live in the caves all together with the Monks Valley (Pashabaglari) and Devrent Valley to see unique fairy chimneys. After visiting Avanos for a local pottery demonstration of an ancient Hittite technique have lunch and visit to Pigeon Valley where you can enjoy the panoramic view. Return to your hotel after the tour.

Optional early morning Hot Air Balloon Tour. Then return to the hotel to have our breakfast. After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to Derinkuyu Underground City with dwellings, stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches and vineries which were used by the Christian communities. Then visit Ihlara Valley, carved by nature out of the ashes of the volcanic Mount Hasan. After hiking through the valley, which is watered with Melendiz River via Belisirma, proceed to Selime with hollowed out citadels and churches where fairy chimneys rest on the steep hillside. Continue to Kayseri Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Istanbul arrival. Transfer to your hotel.
