          Details

You’ll be picked up early from the hotel to take the ferry, which takes 40 minutes to cross the İzmit Gulf. Afterward, there is an hour and a half drive to reach the city of Bursa.

Once you reach Bursa, there are several must-see destinations in your itinerary. First, head to Bursa Center, where you can experience the city’s bustling atmosphere and indulge in local cuisine. Next, take a trip to Uludag Mountain, or Olympos Mountain, to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. We will have an hour of free time here. During this time, guests can enjoy the chairlift. The chairlift offers a unique vantage point to take in the surrounding scenery. Guests can relax and appreciate the natural beauty of the area and take in the crisp mountain air. There are a variety of sights to see from the chairlift, such as the forest-covered hills and snowy mountains in the distance.

After enjoying the beauty of nature (which is snowy only in winter), we will take the cable car to descend from the mountain. The cable car is a modern and safe mode of transportation that allows guests to take stunning views of the city below. As the cable car descends from the mountain, guests will be able to see the city’s architecture and landmarks from a unique perspective. The 9-kilometer line offers a leisurely ride, allowing guests to fully appreciate the sights and sounds of the city.

Then stop for lunch and enjoy the local dish of Iskender kebab. It is a delicious local delicacy that originates from the picturesque city of Bursa. This succulent meat dish features marinated lamb that is perfectly cooked on an iron stick, with the flames adding a mouth-watering smoky flavor. It’s no wonder that this dish is renowned throughout the entire country!

After lunch, the next stop is The Green Mosque, or Yesil Camii, which is a must-visit destination featuring intricate tile work and beautiful stained-glass windows. Adjacent to the mosque is the Green Mausoleum, or Yesil Turbe, which provides a peaceful and serene resting place for Ottoman Sultan Mehmed I. Then For a unique shopping experience, head to the Silk Market, or The Covered Bazaar, where you can find a wide range of traditional Turkish goods. After exploring the city, as a last stop before returning to Istanbul visit the 600-year-old pine tree, which symbolizes Bursa’s rich history.

** Important Note:

In the event of cable car cancellation due to weather conditions, we will provide our guests with the option of taking the chairlift instead.
