Yourself amid a city that has seen the rise and fall of three empires and sits on the border of two continents. Istanbul is a city of grandeur and history, where every step you take leads to a new story and a fresh adventure waiting to be explored.
To kick off the day, we will embark on a leisurely cruise along the Bosporus, a 30-kilometer strait that boasts stunning seaside mansions built with unique architectural styles. As we glide along the water, you’ll be transported back to the 18th century when the Ottomans settled on the shore and constructed their palaces, including the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace, the Rumeli Fortress, and the Beylerbeyi Palace. With so much to see during the cruise, you’ll be entertained for approximately one and a half hours.
After the cruise, we will continue our tour to the Dolmabahce Palace, a masterpiece of embellishment and detail. The palace’s foundation was filled with earth to create the perfect spot for the Ottoman Palace, and it boasts features such as a 4.5-ton crystal chandelier and a 124 square meter Hereke Carpet. You’ll be mesmerized by the elegance and grandeur of this palace and will spend an exquisite time here.
Once we finish exploring the palace, it’s time to take a break for lunch. You’ll have the opportunity to indulge in Ottoman cuisine at a traditional restaurant and savor the flavors of the region.
Following lunch, we will proceed to the Spice Bazaar, a vibrant and colorful marketplace that will leave you in awe of the captivating, oriental atmosphere. You’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of this market and experience the sights, sounds, and smells of Istanbul.
Lastly, we will drop you off at your hotel, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your Istanbul adventure. With its rich history and endless adventures, Istanbul is a city that you’ll never forget.
